Steve Bannon is a bigoted, unkept, distasteful, and soon to be dishonored narcissistic American embarrassment. He was dredged from the bowels of the "swamp" by the former president of these United States to do his dirty work.
A subpoena was delivered to Bannon for his testimony regarding his knowledge and possible involvement of the insurrection on our Capitol January 6, 2021.
Bannon has advised the Committee that he has no intention of obeying the subpoena. He is a close friend of the former president and they are both far above the laws of mortal men.
The "unkept one" is 67 years of age, an American media executive, political strategist, and former investment banker, who served as the White House's chief strategist in the Trump administration during the first seven months of Trump's term. In other words, he has very limited qualifications to do much of anything except hob-nob with people of presumed power and big bank accounts.
Bannon would be considered a large-scale grifter who is infatuated with himself as he zips in and out of photo ops with other corrupt con men from the "good-ol'-days" of Trump's "swamp."
Things will not go well for Stevie, however. His world of big lies and swarms of flies will come crashing down in the very near future. The punishment handed down by American Justice will be the beginning, and his family and close friends will melt away. I have often wondered if people like this man give a moment of thought to how their stain on our country will resonate with those they leaves behind. Do they even think beyond "today?" Do they even think?
Bannon is but a clone of the losers the former president found along the way. He - like so many others - will end up in the dust bin of history. It's a shame. Like most con men, they have a knack for being successful - in a corrupt sort of way. It's too bad they don't put it to use in a constructive way!
Stevie . . . we hardly knew ye. But we knew ye enough.
