Money for the election of Congressman Steve Daines is pouring in from FORTY-SEVEN STATES! Big money, too. Daines is another chance the Tea Party has to get one of their own pointy-headed little three-piece-suited radicals into office.
This is a news story that should have been a banner headline on page one of my hometown newspaper.
But, alas, it appeared seven pages into the newspaper, and at the very bottom of the page. Of course, this is not surprising because my hometown newspaper supports Congressman Steven Daines for U. S. Senator in 2014.
The Tea Party has not been doing well around the country and they are pouring everything into this Montana Race for U.S. Senate. It could help in tipping control of the Senate to the Republicans, although others will have to prevail, as well. The irony of this, of course, is Daines is not just a Republican...he's a Tea Party multi-millionaire who wants to shut down the American Government every time he doesn't get his way.
There are many very good reasons why we should vote for Daines' opponent, Amanda Curtis, but there are many more reasons why we should NOT vote for Steven Daines! He is in favor of gutting the very programs that sustain the Middle Class and the Poor of this country. He turns his back on what he sees as unnecessary programs for the "riff-raff" of America, as he turns his attention to more important things like further tax cuts, additional deregulations, and corporate welfare for the rich.
Don't be suckered into their cunning means of gaining an election win. Campaign money comes from the evil den of iniquity, and too many voters have fallen prey to its allure.
Go to the ballot box in November and show them: "You Are Mad As Hell and You Ain't Gonna' Take It Anymore!"
Period.
