Conversations from the back room. . .

Ronny Lynn Jackson, former Navy rear admiral was retroactively demoted to captain and joined the medical unit under then-President George Bush. President Trump nominated him to be U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affair, but Jackson withdrew the following month amid allegations of misconduct and mismanagement during his service in the White House. Trump then made him his assistant to the president and chief medical advisor, a new position in the executive office. Jackson is best known for writing "glowing" reports of Trump's health examination. He is now a Representative to the U.S. House from Texas. 

Rep. Scott Perry retired from the U.S. Army National Guard as a Brigadier General. He is a candidate from Pennsylvania in 2024 in the U. S. House. Wikipedia lists him as a far-right politician from Pennsylvania. He was born in San Diego, California. 

These two far-right MAGA/Republicans were anointed this week by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to join the U.S. House Intelligence Committee. This is considered a "plum" Committee assignment in the House and only well-qualified, experienced people are chosen!

The only reason that comes to my mind for "why these two" is that special Mike Johnson two-word phrase after their name:  FAR-RIGHT!  There are things happening in Washington that we all notice through news stories and word on the street, and it's pretty damn scary, too!

It almost sounds like conversations from the back room of Jefferson Davis and his aides,. . . let's say around 4:15 a.m. on April 12, 1861.
