TOO MUCH FOR ONE MAN 

Is there any doubt that America has Putin-type Oligarchs? Is there any doubt that money moves our government, our policies, and our elections?  And is here any doubt that money - used the way these guys use it - is the root of all evil and Republican agendas?

What can we say?  Elon Must is worth roughly $251.6 Billion and counting! 

And he has a real problem. He is trying to decide three things he wants to buy every morning before breakfast. The rest of the day, he tries to decide "why" he bought them.

For example, he pledged to Trump that he would give him a whopping $45 million a month to his campaign. No, I can't figure out how many months, but I saw a news report saying it would total around $180 million.

This morning, however, Musk may be pulling back the offer. I have heard no reason, but I will make a wild guess that it has something to do with a lady named Harris who Trump will be facing.

Will he make that $45 million offer to Kamala?

It seems these days that Soap Operas and Politics  have a lot in common.

A Day for a little Levity. . .

Confession of a   Social Climber Before I cash in my chips and curl up my toes, I need to confess to a terrible crime. For more than 86 years I have been a terrible liar about an important moment in of my life. As everyone who knows me is aware, I have always said my home town was Fort Benton. But, I hope everyone will find a way to forgive me for that terrible fib. I admit I was a social climber from birth. I wanted the world to know I was from a large city. When I was born, my parents and and older brother lived in the beautiful town of Virgelle, Montana.
