Realizing the dream of that "new room"

We are going to try one more time to build  that "new room" for our children of the future. If you'll remember, we've had the blueprints laying around for years and years. On November 4, 2008, we finally got it built and was it ever beautiful! It was the successful dream many of us knew it would be. It lasted eight years and even some of the deniers agreed it was a huge success.

But, we let the naysayers bully us into moving back into the "old room" again and we soon forgot the "dreams of our children." We had a "new room" but it was built for and lived in by only certain people. It still didn't have any plans for "children of the future."

A few short days ago, the "head architect" started a remodeling job on that room to finally make it livable for most everyone!

America has had its first African American president and first African American woman vice-president. Other people of color will, with the good Lord's blessing, be able to take up residency in that "new room."
------------------------------------------------
There is an African American woman now who has an excellent chance to become the next resident and fulfil the promises made to reside in that "new room." I believe the "wheels of justice grind slow" - but I believe those wheels do grind!

I wouldn't advise anyone to vote for anyone  simply because she is a black women who could fulfil that dream. But, if you look closely at her qualifications -  and her opposition - you'll fill that "new room" and a "new future" for all of our children who will deserve to know they may have the chance to one day live in that room, too!
