Trump Rides The Wrecking Ball

Trump is caught in another lie and this one may really hurt his goose-stepping to the 2024 presidential election. He now claims the he has nothing to do with the MAGA "Project 2025" plan to take down our democracy brick by brick. All of his "flying monkeys" that have been his closest advisers are listed as participants of the Project 2025. He has even told reporters he knows nothing about the Project nor who is in charge of it.

The eight-hundred-plus page book is the manifesto of MAGA's blueprint of how they will convert our democracy into a radical right-wing cult that will convert America's administration of our government into an authoritarian/autocracy.

I have two real serious questions. Is it true that there is a man named Trump who has without a doubt the worst character profile of anyone who has ever entered American  politics still wanting a second bite of the presidency?

And, is it also true that he has made it on the Republican/MAGA ballot for president and polls are showing him within a few points of winning?

I lied. I have one more serious question. When did this catastrophic accident happen in our country?  When did we decide we wanted to give up our democracy? Regardless of Biden's win, we evidently will still have that many of us who have given up on the "shinning city on the hill," the greatest democracy in the world, and the sweetest smell of freedom anyone has ever witnessed!

No matter how you view a win for the good guy, it's not good news at all!

It's immoral to even let him run for office. . .

A Day for a little Levity. . .

Confession of a   Social Climber Before I cash in my chips and curl up my toes, I need to confess to a terrible crime. For more than 86 years I have been a terrible liar about an important moment in of my life. As everyone who knows me is aware, I have always said my home town was Fort Benton. But, I hope everyone will find a way to forgive me for that terrible fib. I admit I was a social climber from birth. I wanted the world to know I was from a large city.
