Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the voters won't elect the creep!


 America is at the door of being an Oligarchy Nation. In some ways, it has already walked through and set up shop. For example, huge amounts of money from oligarchs and others have  already elected presidents and other high officials. When we think about letting these super-rich varmints pick our leaders, it really is about as close as you can get to being an oligarchy. 

These oligarchies aren't shoveling out cash just because they're nice people. They have a price for every penny handed over - and that means we are -  ultimately -  both feeding the dragon and the president who rode him into office!

Why do you think Trump is so chummy with Putin, Erdogan, and other dragons who are our adversaries? He's looking for advice on how to close the deal on winning this 2024 election and putting his Project 2025 takeover in place. North Korea's Kim Jong Un is also a Trump favorite. A few days ago, Trump was quoted as saying "I thinks Un misses me." 

The former Grand Old Party's demise gave Trump his first step toward this new approach to kill our democracy and leave the door open to "more sinister means" of re-molding our government. As he and other MAGA traitors put together the Project 2025, it brought into a clearer focus just what they had in mind for us. When it's all in place, Trump (if elected) will rule the world. Never mind that he can't even balance his own checkbook.

As the teachers say, "Read Project 2025, do a book report on it, and tell your family and friends what you learned!"

It's a real democracy-burner!

A Day for a little Levity. . .

Confession of a   Social Climber Before I cash in my chips and curl up my toes, I need to confess to a terrible crime. For more than 86 years I have been a terrible liar about an important moment in of my life. As everyone who knows me is aware, I have always said my home town was Fort Benton. But, I hope everyone will find a way to forgive me for that terrible fib. I admit I was a social climber from birth. I wanted the world to know I was from a large city. When I was born, my parents and and older brother lived in the beautiful town of Virgelle, Montana. We also had a farm across the river from Virgelle and south about five miles on top of the river breaks. We lived there for about three years and then moved back to the farm.
